Oxford's colleges in the morning, then Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold. Villages a tour coach physically cannot get into.
What the day looks like
The Cotswold villages are the reason to do this in a car. The lanes into Bibury and Bourton are too narrow for a coach, so tour buses stop at the edge and walk you in, or skip them entirely. We start in Oxford for the colleges and the Bodleian, then spend the afternoon working west through the villages, stopping wherever looks worth stopping.
