Who we are

What we collect

Booking details: name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight number, passenger and luggage numbers, and any special requirements you tell us. Payment is handled by our booking provider; we do not store card numbers. We also collect standard website analytics, described below.

Why we collect it

To carry out the transfer you booked, which is performance of a contract. To contact you about that booking. To meet our obligations as a licensed private hire operator, including keeping booking records as Transport for London requires. Analytics are used on the basis of consent given through the cookie banner.

Who we share it with

The driver assigned to your journey, our booking platform provider, and nobody else unless the law requires it. We do not sell passenger data and we do not pass it to advertisers.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for the period required by our operator licence and for tax purposes, then deleted. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager to understand which pages are used. These set cookies in your browser. You can refuse them through the cookie banner or your browser settings, and the site works normally without them. The booking widget is served by our booking provider and sets its own cookies needed for the booking to function.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email info@bluepick.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
